(SC November ‘08) This small circuit can be used as a speed controller for a 12V motor rated up to 5A (continuous) or as a dimmer for a 12V halogen or standard incandescent lamp up to 50W. It varies the power to the load (motor or lamp) using pulse width modulation.

Product Rating Service The kit works very well controlling a model railway turntable, but only after a seperate on/off switch was fitted. The instruction paperwork suggested that the on/off switch was incorporated in the variable control. (Posted on 13/03/12)

Product Rating Nice kit went together fairly easy but youll need a fine soldering iron and at least some experience soldering electronics. The instructions are fairly easy to follow but youll need some experience at electronics to understand however ther is pictures to compare to for most of it. (Posted on 19/03/11)
